Christakis x Giza Cotton Company Extrafine Twill Shirt
A unique shirt created in limited numbers with our friends at Giza Cotton Company. Woven from fine 200/2 yarns, this precious Egyptian cotton twill has an exceptionally soft handle, a delicate diagonal weave and a subtle natural lustre.
For this fine white cloth, we chose twill over poplin for its ability to hold its shape, resist creasing and provide opacity while preserving the remarkable softness of the cotton. It has enough body to drape beautifully, with a smooth, supple feel against the body.
Our Custom Fit offers a more tailored silhouette than our classic fit, with greater shaping through the waist. The Giza collar, designed for this shirt, sits well with a tie and retains a pleasing shape when worn open.
Cut and sewn in our workshop on Kriezotou Street in Athens, the shirt is finished with Australian mother-of-pearl buttons.
